If you think you are doing the right thing by bagging your recyclable You Are Wrong!

Bagging anything makes it trash.    The recycling material recovery center must toss the entire bag into the trash heap.

Putting the wrong items in the recycling carts cost 1.6 million extra to Meck County residents in fees!    That is just the cost of hauling the wrong items (TRASH) to the Speedway landfill.  

This does not include the cost of break downs of recycling equipment and injuries to staff from wrong items in the carts.

It is simple.   NEVER BAG any recycling items.    BAG ONLY YOUR TRASH!  PUT NO PLASTIC BAGS in your recycling carts.   

Put only cut cardboard, cans, plastic bottles with a neck, mailing envelopes, & glass bottles.    NO WIDE MOUTH PLASTICS!
