RTD Information

It's great to find your neighborhood joining us on the Internet. RTD offers a valuable website at www.RTD-Denver.com, and we invite you to drop by to browse it. It includes route and schedule information, news of upcoming events, and even employment opportunities. You can also use it as a channel for sending in commendations or complaints.

If you have a specific suggestion for routes and schedules in the west area, feel welcome to e-mail me directly at rr10896@rtd-denver.com and I will answer as soon as possible. We do not have a fancy e-mail system, so it won't send you messages if I am away from the office, but it will allow for very direct communication. Thanks!

RTD Information - January 1998 c

New highway coaches with more seating capacity are going into service now on Rtes AF, C and Z trips serving Cold Spring park-n-Ride. The buses, easily identified by their numbers in the "1900" series, are built by MCI, the same company which builds the comfortable and reliable buses used by companies like Greyhound Lines. The added seating is made possible by

the buses' five-foot longer length.

The longer buses do not fit into all gates in the Civic Center Station, and therefore passengers boarding there should read bus and overhead gate signs carefully, as there have been a number

of gate reassignments.

Rte AF runs every day, day and night, every hour on a "clock pattern" schedule between Cold Spring park-n-Ride, Market Street Station in LoDo, the Greyhound bus station and Denver International Airport.

Rtes C and Z operate in weekday peak periods between Cold Spring park-n-Ride and Civic Center Station in Downtown Denver.

The Cold Spring park-n-Ride at West 4th and Union Blvd. is the most popular one serving residents of Green Mountain neighborhoods.

RTD Information - May, 1998 serv

Minor changes proposed for May 1998 schedules will affect lines used as connections by residents of Green Mountain neighborhoods. These changes include improved service on new peak hour Rte 17Ltd trips between the Cold Spring park-n-Ride and Jeffco offices and downtown Golden and an earlier morning trip on Rte 100 - Kipling Crosstown extended to start at Southwest Plaza. The new trip crosses all of the lines from Green Mountain neighborhoods as it heads toward Westminster. Rte 3 - Alameda Crosstown would have minor changes in its schedule.

Additional information will be available on board buses in the brochure titled "Proposed May 1998 Service Changes" or by posting a message here for my response.
