Unlevel floors

Posted in: Towne Lake Hills South
I live in a two story home with a basement on Mt. Vernon dr. The floors on the main level have dips mainly in the kitchen area. I can see under the floors from the basement, it looks like one or more of the floor trusses is warped. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, have you looked into repairing?

Any help is appreciated

I too live on Mt. Vernon Dr and have a similar problem in my hallway but I can't see under the area.  All in One Construction in Woodstock did some work for me in Marietta, good group of professionals. I don't think there is anything they can't do since they work with all kinds of skilled workers. I will be calling them for my problem shortly.

Hi Larry,

I too had this happen in my two story home. I also live on mount veron 4015. It is due to the improper placement or lack of the correct amount of bridging blocks. These blocks keep the floor joyces from warpping/bowing. This is a relitively simple problem to fix. I'm a certified genral contractor and like I said live on the same street. I would be happy to take a look at your problem and if you are interested, fix the problem beforew it becomes worse. Jeffery Ellis (404)234-2269

It is a code violation and if you can still reach the builder you may be able to make them responsible for the repair cost.
