Yesterday when I go home from work, I found a placard hanging on my door from a company named Dawson. They are going to be running some sesmic surveys in the neighborhood - San Joaquin Trail. Something to do with natural gas drilling. I remember signing a mineral lease with Chorizo a few years back; but nothing seems to have come from that.

Is there a new push in the River Trails neighborhood to get mineral leases signed for drilling? I also remember that there was an issue of trying to get all of the residents in River Trails to sign with one company to facilitate drilling for natural gas. Has the Homeowners Association mentioned anything about negotiating for the neighborhood with the drillers for our mineral leases?

Thank you.

For those of us that did sign a lease, wouldn't that be up around March?  Has there been any drilling at all?

I was just thinking about this, this week.

Does anyone have any more information about where we stand on this?  I'm seeing that our lease may run-out this or next month.  If so, what happens?
