Review of Annual Assessment

Proposal

The Trustees are seeking the approval of the Subdivision to increase the annual assessment 50 dollars per year per household for 2007, and the approval to increase the assessment thereafter $10 per year for following 4 years ( 2008,2009,2010,2011).

The Articles of Incorporation, Item 2 of the General Provisions require 51% of the 70 households to approve.

The increase is sought so that we can more adequately address the needs of both pool and pond into the future.

The trustees will be seeking proxy signatures for a special 2006 Association meeting. You will be able to sign the proxy document at the pool, or acquire a document from the Trustees.

2008 = $285
2009 = $295
2010 = $305
2011 = $315

Input and discussion

During the 2006 Annual Meeting there was discussion regarding the needs and condition of the neighborhood assets as it relates to the current assessment amount. When a final proposal for an assessment change is laid out, there will be a special meeting called and time for all residents to voice opinions and vote. There will also be a detailed report of future capital improvements and expenditure needs from the Trustees.
