What a joke

The NHL is only suspending Todd Bertuzzi for the rest of regular season and the playoffs. What a slap on the wrist. So the guy loses $500,000 out of the $28 million, four-year contract he signed back in October. I can only hope that the Vancouver police have the cajones to do what the NHL didn't. Hold Bertuzzi fully responsible for his crime and make him pay SERIOUS consequences.

''We want to make clear that this type of conduct will not be tolerated in the NHL,'' league vice president Colin Campbell said in a statement. If they wanted to send a clear message they would have suspended him for life. What they've done is told the league that it's okay to assault another player in retaliation, as long as you're willing to be suspended for a year.

Shame on Commissioner Gary Bettman and shame on the NHL...

on the news today? Crying and saying ''That is not how I play the game?'' Well, we all saw how he plays the game and it can't be denied. A little late o be sorry now.

That is only the start of his suspension. It is going to be reviewed by Bettman before training camp next year. They are going to look at Moore and see what his condition is, and if he is still unable to play, continue Bertuzzi's suspension next year as well.

I think it was a terrible thing and I think Burtuzzi made a huge mistake when he apologized and said he didnt mean to hurt him. He did mean to hurt him! Maybe he didnt mean to break his neck but make no mistake he did mean to hurt him. I think Burtuzzi should coutinue to play only giving Moore 50% of his pay.
