San Antonio Homeowners, Be wary!

Check your Bexar Appraisal District fine
print. Compare your 2004 Taxable Values to the 2005 Taxable Values. These are my Percentage changes noted:
Bexar Co. Rd & Flood +9%
SA River Auth. +12%
Alamo Com College +17%
Univ Health System +10%
Bexar County +32%
City of San Antonio +97%
San Antonio ISD +15%

I recommend that anyone who has similar
percentage increases immediately mail the protest request form.

Tax Appraisal Estimates

In my previous message, I neglected to tell you to contact each of the Taxing Entities, especially the City of San Antonio Mayor and Council. Some neighbors I have talked to have had their Taxable value increased over 100
Percent. Bexar County is another that is increasing Taxable Values way too
much. Contact the Commissioners now.

Maybe you didn't look closely at those
Percentages. City: +97%(that's nearly
twice the 2004 valuation) Bexar County:
+32%(That's about 8 times the inflation
rate of everything else combined)

I sent email to Councilman Williams. Reply was ''Thank you for your comment.''
No reply from the mayor, so far. Reckon
they figure ''So What! We're outa here.
Let them fight it out with the new council/mayor.'' Go Figure!
