So, we take every opportunity to say that Muscatine is bad, bad, bad and when they try to do the very thing that MANY communities have done for years - curbside recycling - we hear pi$$ing and moaning. If you choose not to recycle all well and good, but those of us who choose to try to save some of our resources by recycling - and trust me our numbers are awesome- please allow us to do so. How smart is it to continue to buy farmland to create landfills? The last I knew they're no longer creating any more land on this earth. Muscatine has many areas that need some serious work - recycling isn't a biggie.

JC, if u want to recycle hey more power to u.....i dont like the idea of a blue bin showing up on my property with a charge of 4.00 per month without being asked if i want to be a part of it....when i do recycle i take it to WFO as we are always running there for something or another...but dont bill me for something that i dont want any part of..... |
