Crittenden Atwood Neighborhood Watch - October 27, 2011

Dear Fellow Watchers,

I want to thank you all for coming to our first meeting last night. It's very encouraging to see that so many of our neighbors are ready to take some action in our neighborhood.

Special thanks to Shah's Mongolian Grill for allowing us to meet at the restaurant. Shah was a great host, and I am confident we will be back. Thanks also to Officer Dean Sturgeon for sitting down with us and getting our Watch going in the right direction.

As we talked about last night, I would like to send out a weekly email blast with crime prevention tips, news about the area and crime reports that are pertinent to our neighborhood. Please let me know if you have suggestions or concerns for the weekly email, or for the Watch program. You can reach me by email the easiest, you can call or text my cell or you can stop by the house. Joe and I are happy to talk about whatever thoughts you may have. (See contact info below.)

* Our City Council District will be changing to District 15 Marianne Butler in the near future. On Monday, October, 24th, the redistricting committee gave final approval to the ordinance that redraws the district boundaries for the 26 districts of the Louisville Metro Council. The measure now moves into Metro Council for final approval TODAY, Thursday, October 27, 2011.
