Sarah and Harry Rubin, my grandparents, had a farm in Lake Peekskill in the 1940's.

There is some indication that a brunette spinster in her sixties, formerly of the Finger Lakes region, relocated or returned to Lake Peekskill with these 2 protagees in tow.
