Crestwood Neighborhood

December, 2004 - President's Message

Dec 12, 2004

Hi, as you can see from the article below, our Home Tour is in progress. We will again beat the Spring ?“home tour rush?” and have our tour the first Saturday in May on the 7th. If you would like to volunteer for a committee or to ?“house sit?” on the day of the tour, please call one of us. And, if you have an idea how we could make the tour better, please call us.

I would like to take this opportunity to ask that each of you keep your yards and homes well tended so we can get a jump start on our pre-tour Spring Cleaning. Please adopt the street in front of your home and keep it clean.

Many of you have expressed concern about the traffic ?– not only people who use our streets as a speedway from May to Villa, but also the amount of traffic in Crestwood. Richard Lancaster is the chairman of our Traffic Calming Committee and if you would like to help or ask a question, please call him at 946-7545.

I have asked Jim Roth, our County Commissioner, and Ann Simank, our City Councilwoman, to speak at our January 11th meeting. Ann has spoken before and we?’ve had lively and informative discussions with her. Jim Roth is very personable, knowledgeable, and easy to approach. If you have any questions you would like ask them, please come to the meeting on January 11 at the Crestwood Baptist Church.

If you have someone you would like to speak at any of our meetings or a topic you would like us to pursue, please call me at 946-7545.
