Trolley Rides Make Bricktown Fun and Convenient

May 02, 2005

So you want to have a nice evening in Bricktown, but you?’re worried that your evening will have to begin at 3:30 in the afternoon if you want to find a place to park? Or, do you have tickets to the Civic Center, but parking in Bricktown for dinner and then by the Civic Center for the concert may cost more than your tickets?
Never fear?—the Oklahoma Spirit is here. The trolley only costs a quarter and has stops all over downtown Oklahoma City.
You can park as far away as the OKC Memorial (which has ample parking in the evenings) and ride the blue line all over Bricktown and Downtown. The trolley stops about every 10 minutes.
Kids love the trolley! If you are stumped for something to do on a Saturday you can take the kids downtown, ride the trolley and play in the ?“dancing fountains?” for less than the cost of popcorn and a soft drink at the movies. Use the money you saved (you?’ll need it) on treats at the Marble Slab Creamery on the canal
