''Picking Up After Your Dog''

Posted in: Creekview Estates-Forest
The largest problem in the Creekview Forest Subdivision is concerning the dog feces that are left on the yards of our neighbors.

Guess what: It's the law! And it is a responsibility of all pet owners to properly dispose of their pet's waste. It has also long been known that an animal feces is an environmental pollution problem.

Dog feces contain billions of coliform bacteria. These bacteria contaminate surface water when it is carried into storm drains, creeks, and lakes during storms.

How many pet owners are not doing their share of picking up after their dog?

Just stop picking on the dogs.  They didn't ask to be brought into our neighborhoods and into our society so just let them be.  If I find dog feces in my yard I just scoop it up without complaint and take the few extra steps to the trash can.  Bending down and walking a little will do your health some good.  If you don't want the exercise then let the feces remain so it can fertilize your yard.
