Street lights, Mailbox Cover etc

Posted in: Wynchase Crossing Home
There has been discussion on having street lights installed in the Wynchase Crossing Addition, larger mailbox cover, bus stop covers. I am in favor of installing a street light on the front two entrances of the addition only. There will be a monthly bill from the electric company for each light installed. I would like to see this area remain rural as long as possible. We for one moved to this area because of the country like atmosphere, seeing the night time stars and the peace and quite of non city lights. We do favor a larger cover over the mailbox area, for the protection of our mail in the boxes from the elements plus provide ample room for students waiting for the bus. We are not in favor of individual school bus covers all through the addition. Stops change and student numbers changes from different areas this would mean what may be used at one point may not be used later and that would be a waste. Whats your opinion?

I totally agree , We need to have some street lights, at least one on each corner.  I think we need some covered bus stops at the major bus stops, we are paying our dues and what is the money going for

I agree with the Bus stop covers for the larger bus stops. This will keep the line up of cars from happening at loading time in the morning and keep the wind off the children when it gets cold. I also agree with the light. I understand we pay dues and this may not cover the costs, but I also know we have many residents that are in several trades and we might be able to try and get volunteer help to offset cost.
