Hot Days Strain Water Supply
Water use is expected to skyrocket, perhaps dangerously, across Metro Detroit now that summer's months of heat and humidity have begun.
The wet, cool spring that gave most residents a month-long reprieve from watering lawns and flower beds is over. And forecasters say Metro Detroit may be in for a drier-than-normal season.
