Boulder wanted to be seperated from Broomfield due to politics. Boulder is mostly democratic and Broomfield is republican. This was one of the reasons I got and I believe that after all the political garbage I have been exposed to the last 10 years. I sincerely feel Boulder was tired of dealing with pro growth Broomfield.

That is very interesing, because the way the article reads, it sounds like he is against it, of course, he tends to change his mind quite a bit, this i know from first hand experience, i swear I hate dealing with people in the government!1
