Problems with Suburban Waste

Trash

Hi Carolyn,
Unfortunately, the Board of Directors cannot enter into an agreement for trash service with any trash company, Suburban Waste included. In order to get an agreement that would freeze prices at a low rate for homeowners, the Board would have to have 240 homes agree to use Suburban Waste. The other option would be for the Board to vote that ALL homeowners use SW. The Board does not want to do that, since many people are opposed to having unified trash service. All the Board has been able to di is try to negotiate with SW to get a better rate. I do agree that SW is proving to be a problem at times, but the HOA cannot do anything about it. Hopefully this helps.

Trash Service

I eventually went with Waste Industries and I have been very happy with them. I only have trash picked up and it runs me only $14 a month. Yes that was more than Suburban but I have not had the problems that came with Suburban Waste.
