MediCalHealthy Families Program Russian Speaking Community Forum

During the last two months Oleg Butin continued working on the MediCal/Healthy Families Program. He keeps signing up kids and pregnant women of both English and Russian speaking communities of the Greater Sacramento areas for this low/no cost subsidized health insurance. You can refer interested families to Oleg. Ask them to call him at 361-2389 and leave him a message if he is not available at that time or call Mills Family Center at 362-1881. The good news is that as of new year this program is supposed to be expanded to cover parents as well. Please "stay tuned" to the news from the MediCal, Healthy Families headquarters and from Mills Family Center. Also, now we work on tracking glitche/flaws of these health insurance programs. Please refer families having enrollment problems to Oleg to prevent then from dropping off the program. Our goal is no children without health coverage. Oleg, Peter Shnaydman from the Sacramento County Office Of Education, Michelle Jewell from Birth & Beyond program and other activits of the Russian Speaking Community Forum of Sacramento keep conducting the Forum events("round tables" and service nights for the Russians, Ukrainians, Armenians, and other nationalities of the 70-thousand members of the communityof the immigrants from the former Soviet Union). He also deals a lot with the Russian speaking mass media. Oleg heartily thanks the leadership of Folsom Cordova Unified School District for strong support of his efforts and the principal and staff of Mills Middls School for attending and active participation in the Forum events!
