Community Board 2 Brooklyn

I am part of a community group interested in preserving the building height on Smith St.  In particular, we are interested in the use of the "MTA" building at 166 Smith St., the corner of Smith and Wyckoff Sts., which is currently for sale.  We understand that the property is being sold with the promise that 3-4 stories can be added, which is not in accordance with the zoning regulations. We are also interested in Landmarking the area.  Anyone who knows anything about this property or who had  similar interests is welcome to cotnact me:  Susan Kaplan, Esq. cell: 347.683.2505
