I contacted Community Advocates 3 weeks ago. True to what they say on their website "if you call and leave a message, someone will call you back in 24 hours" and someone did. A really nice guy whose job it is apparently to call you back, find out what you were calling for and then you are transferred to one of many bottomless pit voicemails where they will NEVER call you back. As week 2 passed on by I thought, I understand that they may be busy, but 2 weeks WOW. So I called to speak to a supervisor hoping that this was the exception and not the rule. I explained what I was calling for, who's mailbox I had been leaving messages in and I was so desparate at this point I left a message for the supervisor letting her know it had been 2 weeks at that point and that if they didn't have time to help me, could they at least point me in the direction of another agency that may have the time to help me ... that was over a week ago and not even the supervisor deemed me worthy of a return phone call. That's pitiful! And for those saying take my butt down there, did that too, they are NEVER IN! So, I'm on the hunt for an agency that will actually do what they promise. In this difficult climate of We Energies mugging people monthly and contemplating their next price hike I know things are going to get a lot more difficult for more people, so when I find an agency that will actually help, I'll post it here. Good luck to those looking to work with Community Advocates, you're gonna need it.
