But Jim, didn't you know, our neighborhood is a weather void where clouds part when they go over it, so we have totally different rainfall numbers than even a few miles away. -haha

I believe even suggesting such differences is a desparate grasping of straws. Someone REALLY thinks that the rainfall numbers in south Tulsa are vastly different than the rest of tulsa? I dunno whether that is arrogant or naieve? South Tulsa is nice, but we're not THAT special.

if I had to guess

The majority of residents don't even look at the budget or scrutinize the numbers. But I guarantee there will be a flap when the fees have to be raised sooner than later because of out of line bills like water.

I want my $300 spent in the most efficient way. If we had that 7.50 x number of households back, I'm pretty sure the lump sum could have been applied towards something more beneficial to the neighborhood, such as playground repairs or enhanced event activities. I suspect the rest of the neighbors would want the same thing.

What is more fun, a working swingset, or watching the sprinklers fire in the rain?
