Neighborhood Photographer Show

Feb 16, 2004

Light, composition, camera angle, tone--these are the photographers tools. Mike Melman has mastered them all. His black and white photographs of Minneapolis bridges and buildings are fabulous. He focuses on structures built in another era. An architect by trade, Mike captures the craftsmanship behind the construction of the 20?’s, 30?’s and 40?’s. He captures that craftsmanship with his camera. See for yourself. His photos are showing at the Mill City Museum through April 1, 2004. The gallery is open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10:00-5:00, and Sundays, noon to 5:00. There is no charge for viewing the photos. Melman?’s photographs are also available in a book, "The Quiet Hours: City Photographs." It is available at the museum gift shop and at area book stores.
