There is a proposal to install a barrier (such as a chain) across the road at the south end of Mazatlan Circle. This would prevent vehicles from circling the block and discourage certain types of criminal activity by limiting access.
It would split the circle into Mazatlan East (1000 block) and Mazatlan West (1100 block).
