I know that Willow Park is not listed as part of the Colonial Acres Association map but we need to claim it and start to take it back before it is taken from us....

I am glad we have a large park with athletic facilities but there is also a bad element that has been taking advantage of the fact the park is not used by the neighbors.

Personally I dont want Willow Park to be taken over by those who want speed races and loud booming "music" that actually vibrates your windows from 2 blocks away.

I also dont want to have to pick up any more beer cans and other assorted garbage that has been thrown from moving cars in the street in front of my house.

Willow Park is just as big as Marquette or Sea Isle Park, anyone have any ideas??

How about a CANA cookout?  I'm also sick of the noise and speeding in the neighbor hood- and Marquette is also being over run with people parking their cars on the grass. People have just become rude and inconsiderate.  And if you call the police and notify them of any of these issues, they could care less.

Perhaps CANA could "adopt" the park.  I think the Greentrees neighborhood near Kirby and Messick adopted their neighborhood park (Holmes Park?).  I believe they hold periodic clean-up days, etc. at the park.  It could work here in too..
