My husband and I close the gate every night at dusk. Many times, stragglers are still in the cemetery after hours. I feel it is extremely rude of visitors to NOT re-close the gate after dusk. Time and time again, we have had to go back out after dark to re-close the gate because someone was too lazy to get back out of the car to re-close it after it had already been closed. Visitors want the privilege of using the cemetery, but they do not want to take responsibility for keeping the cemetery safe. PLEASE CLOSE THE GATE IF YOU LEAVE AT OR AROUND DUSK! You are free to open the gate after 8am. STATE LAW requires the cemtery to open at 8 (or dawn) and close at dusk. Please be considerate of others, and leave at dusk. If the gate is closed, re-close it after you exit the cemetery. Thank you.
