Keep your outfits ready to go.
Clean, Fitting, Ironed, No rips!


2. ATTITUDE
Be sure you have the right ATTITUDE
Look at yourself in the mirror
Are your features welcoming
Ask family/friends to critique you


3. APPLICATION
Develop a pocket size master APPLICATION
Include correct addresses, and names
Answer every question, or write N/A
Carry pencils, pens and white out

VISIT PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYERS

Go to the places where you want most to work. You can learn a lot about a business by visiting it. This is why people work at places they are familiar with. Observe the attire of the employees. Notice how they carry themselves. What they are doing. Take mental notes if the environment does not allow written note taking.

When doing job search you will get better as you go if you seek the same type of jobs at the same kind of businesses. Learn what they do and learn who their competitors are. You might want to visit each one, but do not discuss one with the other.

Ask yourself why you want these particular jobs? Why is it you do not have these jobs? You should now be able to remove all obstacles and get the job. If you see you cannot remove the obstacles, choose another occupation

DO THESE THINGS

Make a set number of:
Cold calls each week
Visits to businesses each week

Develop a single page resume for each position you are seeking. Spell check for errors.

Prepare yourself and talk about what job you want to do and why you want to do it without hesitating.

Call businesses and ask the name or the person in charge of hiring or the personnel director. Address a letter to this person, along with a resume and ask about possible job openings in the near future.

Get permission from your references to use their name and number. Be sure the information is up to date.

Be 10-20 minutes early for interviews. No more, no less.

Follow-up on interviews with a thanks for seeing me card. Drop it in the mail on the same day of the interview if possible.
