According to Oklahoma CIty Municipal Code, it is illegal to let any dog bark or howl frequently and loudly on a continual basis. This disturbs the peace of the community or neighborhood. Officers can issue a citation to the dog's owner if another citizen is willing to sign a complaint form. After this, the owner must comply to conditions and keep his dog quiet. Failure to do so will lead to a citation and impoundment of the animal.

I understand when this is a constant thing, however last Friday and Saturday, these neighbor dogs alerted us that someone unidentifiable was outside our area. I'm so glad that these dogs have a sense for that, however yes when they bark at rabbits or critters outside then that can get annoying
