I just don't think the city cares as much about the plowing. The front end loader dumped about 50 yards of snow right in front of mine and the neighbor garages which makes it almost impossible to clear. (after two hours I did manage to clear most of it.) We have a park with 3 acres of land to dump snow, and over the wall into the river.

About the cars... With the snow emergency you would think at least one side of the street would be clear...guess not. Well at least you don't have a prick of a neighbor who takes all the snow from his side of the street and puts it on your side, and not only that he snowblows 3/4 of St Paul Ave on to my side and then the plows put it all in front of your garage. So neighborly!!!

Cars and Snow Removal

The car problem is horrible, not many people move or undrstand what a SNOW EMERGENCY IS! Just tune into any radio or TV Station and you can find out what the restrictions are. Well as of 8 pm tonight the authorities are supposed to start towing away cars not moved or where they should not be. So if you know of such a vehicle call the Police District at: 935-7232. If want to know the snow emergency rstriuctions call the Dept. of Public Works at:286-8350.

Mark I would call the Alderman and Public Works about the snow issue that really sucked-I will also call too. THey also need to get down here and get things properly cleaned up!

Jack Knifing Cars

I was helping out a friend on 40th with shoveling last night and cars were jack knifing on the 3900 block of w. Clybourn jumping up onto the sidewalks
