Just an idea
Most people keep their radios turned on 24/7, until the roll call situation is figured out. If someone has a message to broadcast, they could do it at the 7 pm hour.

radio network
I have not participated in this in awhile either. I talked to one of the neighbors involved and they also said something about the channel being coded now or secure. or is it still the same?

channel being coded
If the network channel is being coded, this would explain why most of us aren't hearing any of the broadcasts. I know in the beginning we had broadcasted on channel 3, but due to interferences we switch to another channel. But that was over a year ago. Did the network move to a third channel? I know the person doing roll call stated that she is currently on has been done lately. But should the bullentins be broadcasted even if there is no roll call?
