Monthly City Council Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.
at the Lyndon City Hall located at 515 Wood Road.
All Norwood citizens are encouraged to attend.

Speed limit throughout our community is 25 mph.
Please help observe this limit and all road signs to promote safety for our children and pedestrians.
Parking on the streets of old Norwood is discouraged. Parking on any of the grassy commons is prohibited.

City Services

Garbage Pick Up Services Provided By Industrial Disposal Co.
Wednesday ?– Yard Waste (April ?– mid-January) Friday ?– Trash Pick Up / Recycling
(Please note that if you have a drainage ditch adjacent to your property, it is your responsibility to keep it free of debris and/or yard waste.)
It is advised that you put your containers out the night before pickup is scheduled and as close to the street as possible.
There will be zero tolerance for illegal dumping of any kind in the city park and common areas and can be subject to up to $5000 fines.

For any problems (i.e., mowing, leaf removal or fallen limbs in common areas or on the road),
please contact Mayor Schueler.
If he cannot be reached, call one of the City Commissioners to report the problem.

All building permits to be issued within city limits must be approved in writing by
the City of Norwood in coordination with the Code Enforcement Office of Jefferson County.
