Trustees

Posted in: Hamilton Highlands

Ed Muncy should not be allowed to be a trustee due to the fact that he is not a home owner of the subdivision.  The house he lives in is registered to his parents Ed and Mary Muncy Sr., not Ed Jr. and Rosie.  As an actual homeowner of the subdivision I request that he be immediately removed from all current and future involvement of the subdivision.  Certainly the association leadership did not purposely set the precedent to allow a family member of a home owner to be appointed as a trustee.  This information can be verified on the county auditors and recorders website.

Don't mean to be smart, but what matters? Nothing seems to come from from having any Association anyways..??

You are correct, his house is registered in his parent's names.  He is not renting the home, it is his.  It is no ones business why it was put in their name instead of his.  Since you say you are an actual homeowner of the subdivision, your request of him being immediately removed from all current and future involvement of the subdivision, is duly noted.  I had not even given it a thought, but you are correct about a trustee must be a homeowner.   I'm sure that won't bother him because now he won't have to mow and weed the entrances (on his own time, his mower, his gas), make continuous calls to the police/city code department regarding violations, haul trash that the homeowners in the subdivision have dumped in the detention lot, pass-out flyers/information and I could go on and on.  I was close to calling it quits quite some time ago because I basically was on my own trying to do everything because no one else wanted to step up to the plate.  When I voiced my frustration to him, he volunteered to help me so I could continue on with trying to keep a nice community.  Since then, he has done more than anyone before.  Has he received thanks for all that he has done????  His thanks came last week.  He had polished his truck because he was attending his uncle's funeral the next day.  When he came out the next morning to leave, someone had egged his truck !!!!!  So I guess that's the thanks people around here get for trying to make a nice community.   Since no one else seems to know how much work is involved as a trustee and no one is willing to help---THEN--criticize someone who is willing and does help----all you need to do is take a paper around to all homeowners and have them sign it to dissolve the association.  Feel free and I welcome it.  I have done as much as I can for several years on my own time and own expense, just as Ed & Rosie have done---and the volunteers that have helped us in the entrances and actually do attend our meetings.  Once you get the paper, all you need is give it to me and I will do all that is necessary to bring this to a close.

Please see my response to the other remark about Ed.  You and that person can get together and have the homeowners sign to dissolve the Homeowner's Association then everyone will be happy.
