Open letter to Circle C residents

Developer: Interest in maximum development and thus maximum profit;

Homeowners: A very different interest, which is maximizing quality of life and assuring dues are reasonable and spent in the interest of homeowners; these are two very different, often conflicting interests;

It is standard in new developments, esp. those developed through municipal utility districts, that initially the developer controls the board through ownership of lots and then, over time, power shifts to the homeowners; during the transition period there are always conflicts because of the conflicting interests;

After 15 years it is far past time for homeowners to have representation, control of the CCHOA, CCHOA policies and CCHOA funds.
