If you received this letter - (as some of our neighbors in LORTN did today ) - don't believe that our problem is over simply by City Council 'denying' TMGS's application. PLEASE WRITE City Hall as per earlier discussions - and - REQUEST - DENY WITH PREJUDICE. 

SHOW UP next Tuesday at 7pm, 1000 Throckmorton Ave - and let City Hall know we don't want this near us.  We have to show up in force and continue to voice our concerns to city council. If you read this letter, it is fairly evident that this issue is not going to go away UNLESS we get city council to deny the petition WITH PREJUDICE. It is no coincidence that this letter
is going out right before the council meeting. Chesapeake is counting on us to let our guard down. We have to treat this next step with the same OR MORE intensity than we did the zoning commission. Otherwise, we will be facing this issue again at some point in the future. This is NOT going to go away unless we get the council to DENY WITH PREJUDICE! It will take less time to show up at city hall on December 6 than to fight this issue once again when Chesapeake refiles their petition sometime in the future
(most likely near future). You can bet they will try to sneak it past us as they did this time.

Dear Neighbor: 
As you are no doubt aware, Texas Midstream Gas Services recently applied for a city 
permit to build a natural gas compressor station at 7429 Randol Mill Road. Although we had researched many sites and determined this one was best, we clearly heard 
neighborhood concerns. I write today to tell you we will not move forward with plans for 
the Randol Mill site at this time. 

If city ordinance allowed, we would simply withdraw our application prior to the council 
hearing. Since it is too late to withdraw, we have asked the city council to vote to deny 
the application to avoid creating additional stress or controversy that a public hearing 
may cause you and your neighbors during this holiday season. Councilmember Scarth 
agrees with this approach and will move to deny the permit on December 6th. 

Because we still need compression on the east side of Fort Worth, we have engaged a prominent engineering firm, Freese and Nichols, Inc., to help us explore other options. If they are unable to find a more acceptable solution, we may come back to you at some point in the future to reopen discussions and review a scaled-down or even all-electric station as an alternative Whether or not an alternative is found, we are committed to strengthening the dialogue between our company and your neighborhood. 

Compressor stations are a vital part of the natural gas production process, and are 
essential to keep natural gas flowing and deliver benefits for our local economy. We 
remain committed to finding solutions that benefit our hundreds of thousands of lease 
holders as well as Our surface neighbors and appreciate your open-mindedness and collaboration as we seek alternatives.
