THE KING’S POINT COMMITTEE

THE KING?’S POINT COMMITTEE and the Board have held numerous joint meetings, mostly with respect to the middle school traffic and density issues. They have recently contracted with traffic engineers Transplan Associates to help analyze the traffic challenges and options. Transplan has been charged with completing baseline traffic counts in the community before the school year starts and again after school is in session. These results will be submitted to the City of Centennial and the City of Aurora. Transplan will also review the recent traffic studies completed by the developer and make comments and/or objections to the City of Aurora, along with possible resolutions. The committee is meeting again on August 15th to discuss the other mitigation features of the King?’s Point Agreement in comparison with the latest development plan from Castle Rock Development. We then expect several more meetings with Castle Rock to negotiate these features
