Offer of sale from Polk County

The neighborhood association is considering an offer to acquire from Polk County a parcel of vacant property at the corner of Chautauqua Parkway and Hickman across from the Glanton property. The property would have to be maintained by the neighborhood and the most important maintenance job would be mowing the lot on a regular schedule. We will need 6-8 volunteers to mow the lot once a year. This would ensure the lot would be mowed at least once a month. If you would be interested in helping out, please call Owen Steil at 280-9008.
