Food Shortage at WENH   West End Neighborhood House (WENH) is currently serving 122% MORE families than this same time last year, and has depleted its funding at the Food Bank until mid/late August. The organization has the ability to purchase from the Food Bank, but does not have the available dollars. WENH is seeking any non-perishable food items, or cash donations, to help stock the shelves for another few weeks. Otherwise, the organization may have to temporarily stop serving the hungry, which includes many children. This would be the first time in its lengthy history that this was necessary, a true sign of our economy.

Please help if you can by dropping off a donation, or mailing a check made payable to West End, to West End Neighborhood House, ATTN: Barbara Reed, 710 N. Lincoln Street, Wilmington, DE. All donations are tax deductible.  For more information, call 302-658-4171.
