Chicago-Detroit/Pontiac Passenger Rail Corridor

We recently sent DCP (212 E. 95th Street) an email with an update on the Chicago-Detroit/Pontiac Passenger Rail Corridor Program. We’re hosting a self-guided presentation to keep people apprised of our progress on the alternatives analysis process. The presentation summarizes the preliminary route analysis we have conducted for the area known as the “South of the Lake” between Chicago Union Station and Porter, Ind.  Before we can move on to the next step, we need input from the communities along the corridor about the results so far. Do you think you can have the information below included in your next newsletter or membership posting?

Please participate in a self-guided online presentation with updates on the Chicago-Detroit/Pontiac Passenger Rail Corridor Program. The link is available until May 29, 2013 here: http://www.greatlakesrail.org/.  If you do not have access to the internet, please call 1-877-351-0853. I’ve also attached a flier which might also be helpful to distribute. I’m happy to send over a few copies with Herb over the next few days. Let me know if that would be helpful and how many you might need.  Thank you in advance for your help. Please let me know if you have any questions or if you need additional information.

Best, Emily
