We realize that this is Fall, that there will be leaves falling and such. Our goal is to improve out look, to take pride in your home. Fall is a great time to plant grass, but there is so much more. Pansies, Mums, pumpkins, Fall decorations. Halloween is right around the corner, then Thanksgiving, Christmas. Yard of the month is not just about grass. It is cleaning up your yard. Trim your hedges, rake your yard. Treat your yard for the fire ants that are taking over the neighborhood. Show you care about where you live.

YARD CONTEST

It is wonderful to see that you will be awarding neigbors on how nice their yard looks. I think the other important thing is that while working in your yard you get to meet your neighbors. It helps to turn our house into a home. We get so busy we can often forget we are a part of a neighborhood.
