I just moved to the Hunts Point area and I was told that the prostitution was gone from here. I am a community person along with my wife and children. We also run an organization for children for the LGBT Community. Now my question is why are they still prostitution going on when there are so many police officer patrolling the neighborhood? I tell my children that the neighborhood at night can't be walked because there are too many night crawlers around. I know they are trying to wonder what I mean. How can us as a community, stop several home from providing prostitution and violence from happening? The Market value is going up here but the area is not being bettered. If we as a community want to improve this we have to join together and police officers would have to improve a bit better their performance. I called 911 the other day and the officers on call where just sitting in their car not taking a quick action about the situation by the time they decided to proceed the incident was over and no one to arrest.
