On Jan 21, I wrote that Amy Brooks was not running for re-election and that Sam Bowman was running for the post and is supported by Amy. Recently I got a call from Susan Johnson who informed me that she was running for the post also. Both have sent me some campaign literature and I will ask Teresa if she will put it on the web site in the near future.
Both candidates have had lots of community experience largely as volunteers and appointed positions and these will be noted in the new postings.
If there were enough interest, I am sure we could get them to appear in the neighborhood in person and together to present their qualifications for council person. This could be done at Macklanburg or at a church.
So keep checking the website and we will have more info on each of these candidates soon.
