Jan Dempsey Community Art Center to host 11th Annual Juried Art

The 11th Annual Juried Art Exhibition is currently on display at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center. This competitive exhibition features new and recent works by 28 local artists. The works were selected by artist Kay Urry DeMarsche, who just recently retired as Professor of Art and Head of the Art Department at Mississippi State University. Professor DeMarsche also selected a number of works for special recognition.

A reception and awards presentation will be held on Friday, May 22 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center. The reception is free and open to the public. The exhibition will be on display until June 30. The gallery is open Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
