Y2K PREPARATIONS

There have been several areas, associated with the management of this property, which have been mentioned as a possible problem in connection with the Y2K issue. One of those areas is the elevator. The manager consulted with San Diego Elevators and was assured that the elevators will not be affected by the date change. The building elevators are not controlled by a computer; they do not rely on a written computer program to determine where they should go.
As far as the Association?’s bank accounts, and payment of dues, are concerned, the manager keeps complete records that would be used to verify any funds and/or transactions that may be in question. However, the Bank of Coronado complies with Y2K requirements and few serious problems are anticipated.
