CHARACTER COUNTS!SM in Montgomery County

I am wondering why their is not a organization or someone in Crawfordsville who holds a social club for special needs people of all ages. Basicly a place for them to hang out to get to know their peers, people in the community, and a way to get out from home. A place to socialize, play games, have parties, dances, etc. troughout the year instead once or twice a year. Why not once a month or twice a month. My question is who to contact for help on where can I start. I know of a lot of people that would take advantage of this program if we could just find away to start.

I am with you on thinking we need more for the special needs.I noticed you posted this almost a month ago and I am wondering if you have gotten any information on this. What a wonderful idea and I sure would be intrested in knowing if anything is in the works for this. Thank you
