Beginning in Jan. 2009 through the year, the Indpls. Fire Dept. will be relocating equipment and closing houses. The Broadripple house is on the chopping block and Station 16 ( 5555 N. Illinois St. ) could be changed around of what will be stationed in its house, or maybe even closed. I work at this station and have met some board members at some neighborhood functions. I want to make sure you all know what is coming down the pike. You better start doing the homework, so it won't happen with out your knowledge. Feel free to come see us at the station. We will inform you of what we here, rumors or not. Perry Twp. will be joinig IFD and to fill spots south, north spots will be taken away and relocated. Broadripple Station will be closed, that is the more concrete roomer we have. Tell the Broadripple Board immediately also.
