Burgundy at Heatherridge Neighbors

I have been RENTING my unit for almost 5 years, never had any problems. I like my neighbors, they like me...And all of a sudden everything changed and no one wants to do anything about it. People are getting broken into, one poor lady was robbed at gunpoint, we can't leave our homes without wondering who we're going to find sitting on our porches. I am SO angry I don't know what to do. So many good people are moving away, including me. i loved my little place but I just can't take it anymore. Lord knows I wish something could be done, but I'm afraid every time my parents come to visit me that one of those hoods is going to say or do something to one of them. Like I said, I don't know how it happened but these hoodlums have taken over Sable Cove and even though I wish we could do something to take it back, I'm getting out of dodge and moving somewhere safer & quieter.  Sorry to see a good person go...but you are certainly not the only one leaving Sable. It is no longer safe for "non-thugs" to live here. But, apparently the people in control of our HOA money are just turning a blind eye to the whole thing. I was recently accosted while trying to get into my car by some "thugs" who asked me for money...had I been alone I really think they would have tried to rob me instead of just ask for money (to which I said no, of course). Best of luck to you....but really, it's we who are stuck at Sable Cove who need more luck....luck that we don't get robbed, or have our cars vandalized, or worse, get shot.

As of sept. 30th 2008 there was a gun fight in are parking lot.  Cars were hit and cops showed up in 5 min.  who are these people ?  Drive by want a bees ?  Are these people who live at sable cove  who are brings this stuff in ?  I am a gun owner now only becouse of stuff like this.  I am ready if I have to protect me and my loved ones and neighbors if the law permits... this is bull...  everyone here that stays must be proactive or get what you get at the hands of thugs...

Cant put a gate at each end of the entrance, its not private property I think its the citys, with streets running through are parking lots...

What to do ? 

p.s. sorry to see good familys leave with there children, and have vacancy and bad renters to take there place.

The biggest problem with that shooting last night is that even that is not likely to get the property management and board to do anything different around here.

To answer at least one of your questions,  those people involved in the shooting were not just driving by...they are always at the rental unit where the shots originated, so they weren't just random thugs driving by.

Stay safe, my friends, and move away if you can!!!! (unfortunately, those of us who are owners and being held hostage here because what crazy fool would want to actually buy a unit here with all this voilence????)
