I spent a week researching and calling local home security companies and finally nailed it down to one company I liked. They came out, said they'd email me a quote, never got the quote and the guy wont answer his calls.

No problem. Wont get my business.

Who do you folks use for your home security and monitoring? I prefer to go with a company that does not require a contract (Why should they if their service is good?) and offers a FAIR price for monitoring (ADT is not a fair price since it costs these companies about 9 bucks a month to monitor your home).

 Any suggestions or experience?
