The Springs is a great community and wanted to give some suggestions in how to make it look better...  By no means am I suggesting it lacks appeal, but simply giving ideas what could be done to revive its appeal.

• 1. The same rock wall theme we have at the entrance of the neighborhood we should continue it inside the community. The areas I am suggesting is the wood fence area facing the street (not the gates), such as the one by the mailboxes and the side fences on Granite Srping.
• 2. Light post we have in the community look too commercial grade and would be nice if they could be replaced with a smaller light post that fits better with the theme of the community.
• 3. Adding a nice water feature at the front gate. This not only looks pretty but gives it a nice appeal. Big Spring & Sonterra have this feature.

It would be nice to hear from other neighbors if you agree or disagree with the suggestions.

I think these are all wonderful ideas.  We'll have to look at the budget and see whether it would be possible to do this.  If we don't have the money, perhaps we could put it on the ballot for the homeowners meeting at the start of 2009 and ask for an impact fee.  I believe those fences are also owned by homeowners, so we would obviously need to get individual approvals from the owners as well.  As for the light post, I believe they are owned by the city, so we would also need to get approval from them as well to replace.
