September 6, 2007 Meeting

Brookside NA meeting

10 in attendance at start time 6:34 PM Thursday September 6, 2007. 12 total by end of meeting.
Officer Joe Kraeszig started with random problems around the neighborhood.
Some of which included STOP signs being ignored along 13th St., unsafe
use of public sidewalks, possible locations of regular drug dealer
activity and public intoxication and abuse. Officer Joe invited folks
with concerns to e-mail him k3478@indy.gov.org

Market Street on-ramps are coming out and there will be new ramps on/off at Washington with street scape improvements

NESCO- Denise Walker & Tracy Heaton (director)
At the last meeting NESCO discussed property taxes, the Mayor visited the meeting and the majority of the discussion revolved around the feast. The feast was a huge success- THANK YOU to all who came volunteered and participated

Also, another reminder about the action teams, ongoing quality of life plan and action teams

Tracy wanted to make sure that Brookside is represented. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE ON THE ADVISORY BOARD FOR DUVALL PLEASE CONTACT DENISE WALKER OR TRACY HEATON. We need 5 from NESCO and 5 from Brightwood

Treasurer's Report- Kevin Smith:
Denise Walker earned 42.00 in the Feast Dunk tank. 10% must go to NESCO voted to keep the rest of the monies for Brookside.
Also owe NESCO 35.00 for the dog tent. Have current total of 204.00

Some discussion on the newsletter what works, better distribution, call for article suggestions
Discussion on new location at Brookside Elementary- like the location. Renee offered to help make signs for the meetings.
