This used to be the alternative site for the 6/15 Green Community Garden, and I'd set it up last summer because the ''official'' website (www.615.org) was so outdated and spartan that I thought more depth would be useful.

However, the Steering Committee had issues with my having set up an alternate website without their permission... and I was asked to either dismantle this site OR to rearrange/change it so that it wouldn't be connected with the garden.

I put a lot of work into this site, and I think the site has a lot of potential (and the request to remove it was done in such an abrasive way that it really rubbed me the wrong way) - so I'm in the midst of reorganizing its focus.

This actually leaves me quite a bit of autonomy now to put more of the politically inclined material I like on, and include more of what OTHER Brooklyn Community Gardeners want to see...

Just wanted to explain the reconstruction!
