Welcome

On behalf of the residents of Bridgewood, congratulations and welcome to the neighborhood! We hope you enjoy the community. Some information is provided below that you may find helpful.

Homestead Tax Exemption

When you purchase a home, public records are updated and many companies will use that information to solicite you for many services. One service is to file your homestead exemption, for a fee. This is something you can do for the simple cost of a stamp. The forms are free and can be downloaded from the Bexar County Tax assesors website.

Deed Protected Community

Bridgewood is a deed protected/restricted community. It is important you refer to the Protective Covenants or By Laws to review what restrictions you may need to be aware of. A copy of those restrictions can be found in the closing papers from when you purchased your home.
